b. ertyhrohynchus, b. africanus

A species of bird that shares a symbiotic relationship with herd animals.

What’s in a name?

While exploring the relationship between tiny birds (Nightjar) and bison (Pile O’Bones), we learned of a species of bird (Oxpecker, B. erythrorynchus/ B. africanus). Sharing close relationship with herd animals on the savannah, Oxpeckers keep their hosts from harmful pests, &, in turn, the larger animal gives the bird safe harbour from predators.

What perfect serendipity!

So, What’s in a name? Imagine: a symbiotic relationship between our little kitchen and this bad ass brewery — what a perfect collaboration (plus, it’s also just really fun to say — tongue firmly planted in cheek).

And, just like great beer and good food go hand-in-hand, so too can a great restaurant and a stellar brewery pair up to put out the best craft in the country.

Oxpecker: We’re into it!
